Vera Blau-McCandliss is Director of Educational Research and Curriculum at Square Panda. She is a cognitive scientist with a strong interest in education. Her Ph.D. thesis was on the multisensory integration of letters and speech sounds in the dyslexic brain. Vera is an Orton-Gillingham certified instructor and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to curriculum for games and hands-on learning with children. She has driven Square Panda’s grant application process with the NIH and NSF and helps put into motion the social impact Square Panda hopes to have on the world.
