2025-2026 Writing Series Part 3

Writing can evoke strong emotions, especially for 2e students. Anxiety, frustration, overwhelm, and dread can significantly impact our writing process, making effective emotion regulation crucial for achieving writing success.

This talk will take a science-based approach to understanding and coping with writing-related emotions. We'll walk through three core strategies to help manage tricky emotions when writing and discuss ways for parents and teachers to implement them. We'll also cover practical tips geared toward specific 2e profiles (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, etc.)
