We are excited to have Jessica Gerard, a parent and 2e writing tutor, explore positive and detrimental uses of AI for 2e students' writing development, why 2e learners may be especially tempted to use AI as a writing crutch, and authentic, joyful reading/writing activities that build on student strengths and counteract writing-related instructional trauma.
We will then continue the session with interactive discussions and the opportunity to join breakout rooms to share your own parenting 2e questions and thoughts.
