2e youth with a positive sense of identity have better self esteem, are more regulated, and struggle less with anxiety and depression. Kids with learning differences such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, giftedness, and more are barraged with negative messages about themselves nearly every day. From an inadequate K-12 system that doesn’t properly support 2e learners, to a society who doesn't understand them, these students have few nurturing spaces to develop a positive self-identity.

Learn how mentorship helps students discover their full potential and explore their passions through interest-based learning. Twice-exceptional and neurodivergent learners can explore, learn, and grow with mentors who also have high abilities and learning challenges, in a truly inclusive and supportive environment with someone who finally “gets” them. They can follow a customized curriculum that leans into their special interests, translates their passions into real life skills, and addresses their challenge areas, with support from a mentor.

When your twice-exceptional or neurodivergent student finds camaraderie with a cool, near-in-age mentor who thinks and learns like them, they’ll feel less isolated and more confident to tackle difficult tasks, self-advocate, and try new things. They can see themselves in and be inspired by someone who has been in their shoes and has faced similar challenges, but has developed strategies to maximize their brain’s strengths.
