Barbara Shufro Disability Rights Attorney

We at REEL are excited to host guest speaker Barbara Shufro for an  informative and interactive evening, diving deep into advocating for  your 2e kids. Barbara is an attorney specializing in special education  and disability rights matters. In addition to private practice, Barbara  is a member of a group of attorneys and advocates at COPAA (Council of  Parents, Advocates and Attorneys) Twice Exceptional Committee developing  a body of resources for advocates and attorneys representing 2E  students and their families. Her presentation will draw on national  research regarding the law relating to 2E students and her own  experiences.
