Learning Challenges Simulation for PAUSD Aides

On September 11, Special Education aides received dyslexia training.  Sponsored by the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for Special  Education, REEL (Resilience & Engagement for Every Learner) Palo  Alto and PTAC presented a dyslexia simulation. The focus of the simulation was to  help aides understand the struggles of coping with dyslexia, attention, dysgraphia and other learning differences. The  training was well received, and REEL/CAC/PTAC will provide the same  simulation at the Districtwide Professional Learning Day in October.
