Hillary is a lifelong education geek who is intrigued with how we learn. Hillary brings over 20 years of experience in education from her roles as a teacher and administrator in Austin, Texas, and California’s Bay Area. She holds a bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD in education. Struggling to find resources that met students’ needs while also sparking joy in learning, Hillary co-founded Solving Fun, LLC, in 2020. She now spends her days designing puzzles, activities, and games that promote collaboration, perseverance, and creative problem-solving.

Marcy is a complete puzzle nerd with a background in Art Direction. Marcy has a passion for creative thinking. She is celebrated as both an award-winning advertiser and a brilliant puzzle designer. Her unmatched ability to focus creativity has led to the development of captivating and mind-bending puzzles that challenge and delight enthusiasts worldwide. Her exceptional puzzle designs have been published in the New York Times and the MIT Mystery Hunt. As a co-founder of Solving Fun, she continues to push the boundaries of puzzle and game design, inspiring joy and intrigue with their solvers.
